SAM® Chest Seal is designed for the treatment, sealing, and resealing of open chest wounds.After quick and simple application, SAM® Chest Seal adheres firmly—even in extreme heat or cold, regardless of conditions. It meets the performance characteristics preferred by CoTCCC.

Rigid valve with raised cap ensures one‑way airflow out of the chest cavity, regardless of applied pressure.
Large side vents minimize internal obstruction from blood clots or soft tissue.
Whether during transport or under heavy body armor, the TRUFLOW™ valve continues to ventilate.
Tabs can be used to facilitate placement, lifting, and removal of the seal.
Remove the seal using standard dressing removal protocols.
